‘Primate’ director Johannes Roberts has been directing for over 25 years with an extensive and varied back catalogue in the horror genre that’s included micro budgeted movies to franchise films and now his latest film the gory horror fest featuring a rabies infected chimpanzee gone berserk.
Those films include the self funded ‘Sanitarium’, the never released, ‘Alice’ (but you can see it on youtube!), the bird from hell movie ‘ Roadkill’, the Noel Clarke starrer ‘Storage 24′ to the mystic The Other Side of the down to the box office success of the hugely entertaining shark movie, ’47 Metres Down’. He has directed the world’s first short series for mobile phones (When Evil Calls) and worked with stars as varied as Kaya Scodelario, Chrostina Hendricks and Mandy Moore to Darren Day and…um…’Uri Geller!
Terrific fun to talk to Johannes was very open about all of his films and this is one of our favourite interviews…
