At last some Fast and Furious 11 news….
Fast X released back on 2023 was to be the first of a two parter that would close the multi bliiion pind franchise having surpassed $7 billion at the global box office after launching with 2001’s The Fast and the Furious. With the film having made $704m off a purported $300m budget it needed to perform better and the sequel that was intended for 2025 was delayed. Well now there’ some Fast and Furious 11 news ( Fast X Part 2 as it actually is).#
That Fast and Furious 11 news is …..
So Vin Diesel has announced that the forthcoming sequel in the racing series is titled Fast Forever and set for theatrical release on 17th March 2028. Universal has yet to share details about the filmmaking team, cast or plot for Fast Forever.
Who we can expect to see….
Fast X included such franchise mainstays as Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Jordana Brewster and Sung Kang, along with newer additions like Statham, John Cena, Helen Mirren, Charlize Theron, Jason Momoa ( who was a great addition as the villain of the piece in Fast X) and a cameo from Dwayne Johnson’s despite a well publicised feud between him and Diesel. Louis Letterier returns as director.
What Vin Diesel has revealed…..
Diesel, at last years Fuel Fest, said that the next film would “return to the car culture, to the street racing.” so quite whether that will be a move away from the insane gravity defying set pieces remains to be seen but our guessing is they’ll want to bow out with something outrageous and after the tragic death of Paul Walker its highly likely there will be some sort of tribute to him
