2025 has been a great year for horror and 2026 is shaping up to be a good one too if the Obsession trailer is anything to go by.
After breaking the mysterious “One Wish Willow” to win his crush’s heart, a hopeless romantic finds himself getting exactly what he asked for but soon discovers that some desires come at a dark, sinister price.
The film stars Michael Johnston, Inde Navarrette, Cooper Tomlinson, Megan Lawless
Written and directed by Curry Barker he has made a whole series of short films but this is his first feature. The film was shot for under a million dollars and was picked up for distribution for $15-million+ after a fierce bidding war.
Obesession is a title that’s been used many times for films previously perhaps most famously by director Brian de Palma for his 1976 film that was a homage to Hitchcock’s Vertigo but from what we can see here this Obsession trailer promises to be a lot different
