As DS Neil Vanloo (Amit Shah) observes his close bond to his parishioners, he enlists Daniel to assist in the search for the cold-blooded killer. But as he delves under the veneer of village life to piece together clues and uncover long buried secrets, Daniel is forced to question who he can trust and whether he himself was the intended murder victim all along.
Joining Lewis is a stellar line up of British talent including Tamzin Outhwaite and Adam James as they bring the novel to life.
