Actor Nick Moran first came to the world’s attention with his role in Guy Ritchie’s ‘ Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels’ that also made a star of Jason Statham, Vinnie Jones and several others.
Since then he has not stopped working appearing in the final Harry Potter films (Deathly Hallows) as well as many other films and has a huge back catalogue of films. But it’s not just acting that he’s made a name for himself. He’s a writer (having won awards for his West End play ‘Telstar’) and which he adapted for the big screen and directed to huge acclaim. Since then he has directed two further films ‘The Kid’ and ‘Creation Stories’ both true life stories again to much acclaim and is currently awaiting the greenlight for his latest project- when we spoke Nick was awaiting an important meeting!
Huge fun to talk to Nick spoke extensively about his career and took us behind the scenes of Lock, Stock and two smoking barrels, Harry Potter, Hollywood, Guy Ritchie plus a whole host of other films and in between this he spoke about his favourite films too. With an endless array of hilarious stories this was our longest yet in our Favourite Films series and is well worth a look.
