Landing in our in box is the Dolly trailer. Now we’ve been lucky enough to have a preview of this and its very bloody, very brutal and has a Texas Chainsaw Massacre vibe about it
A brief synopsis of the film is of Macy (Fabianne Therese), a young woman abducted by a monstrous figure intent on raising her as their own child
Alongside Fabianne Therese (John Dies At The End) is Russ Tiller (Blood For Dust), Eve Blackhurst, Michalina Scorzelli, Kate Cobb (Okie) with Ethan Suplee (My Name Is Earl) and Seann William Scott ( and without giving anything away but you should see what happens to him here!) and introducing Max The Impaler ( although we’re guessing that ‘The Impaler’ is not his surname is not his surname) as the physically imposing eponymous antagonist Dolly.
The film’s first incarnation was the short film, Babygirl, and now the feature length DOLLY is the hulking and brooding realised vision of Rod Blackhurst, serving as a tribute to the classic 70s slashers, whilst adding its own spin on the genre.
DOLLY will be coming to UK Cinemas from 6th March 2026
