Landing in our inbox is the bloodiest most brutal trailer we’ve seen this year (ok we know it is only 6 days into the New Year but still) and in fairness when you call a film ‘They Will Kill You’ it does suggest that this is going to get pretty brutal. One look at the They Will Kill You trailer confirms that in no uncertain fashion .
The film unleashes a blood-soaked, high-octane horror-action-comedy in which a young woman must survive the night at the Virgil, a demonic cult’s mysterious and twisted death-trap of a lair, before becoming their next offering in a uniquely brazen, big screen battle of epic kills and wickedly dark humor.
The film stars Zazie Beetz, Myha’La, Paterson Joseph, Tom Felton, Heather Graham, and Patricia Arquette. It is those last two names that we are most keen to see as they’ve not really had a big hit or a decent screen role in quite some time and they are both fabulous actresses.Having watched the trailer there is a ‘Ready or Not’ vibe about of which we can see the sequel later this year
Director Kirill Sokolov is a Leningrad born Russian with two features to his name titled, ‘Why Don’t You Just Die’ and ‘No Looking Back’ which gives you some inclination of what his films are like. And with director Andy Muscietti onboard himself no slouch in the horror stakes with the ‘It’ films as well as ‘Mama’ ( although the less said about The Flash the better).
They Will Kill You will be released in the UK on 27th March 2026
