BAFTA winner Danny Dyer. Now there’s a phrase we never thought we would be writing but in all fairness he’s been around for years and wholly deserved the award for his role in, ‘Mr BigStuff’. And it not the first time he’s been nominated for British Soap Awards and the National Television Awards for Eastenders but more significantly a Royal Television Society nomination for his role in ‘Rivals’. But this all adds a but of heft to the One Last Deal trailer which looks like a bit of a one hander film with what looks like only him in the film
Danny Dyer (The Football Factory, Marching Powder, Rivals) stars as Jimmy Banks – an old school football agent who desperately needs to get his troubled star footballer one last big payday before Jimmy’s life, and his player’s reputation, comes tumbling down.
When the prospect of a major new deal with a promising young player appears, Jimmy sees a route to get himself back on top… but when a blackmailer calls and the shady dealings of his past resurface, can Jimmy keep calm and get the job done? Danny Dyer is on top form as he takes centre stage in this fast-paced, pressure-cooker thriller set in the cutthroat world of football politics.
One Last Deal is in cinemas 13th March 2026 and will come to Sky Cinema as a Sky Original later in the year.
