A glimpse of Glen Powell in the ‘How to make a killing’ trailer…..
Glen Powell’s star has been on ascendant for some time now and with The Running Man being his latest lead role attention now turns to his next film with the release of the ‘How to make a killing’ trailer.
What’s the, ‘How to make a killing’ trailer about?
The synopsis says, ‘Disowned at birth by his obscenely wealthy family, blue-collar Becket Redfellow (Glen Powell) will stop at nothing to reclaim his inheritance, no matter how many relatives stand in his way.
Is it a remake?
So from that description there’s something of a ‘Kind Hearts and Coronets’ vibe going on except Powell is not playing all of the family members. It is loosely based on Robert Hamer’s celebrated Ealing 1949 which itself is loosely based on the novel “Israel Rank: The Autobiography of a Criminal” (1907) by Roy Horniman. The novel and Ealing comedy are also the basis for the Tony award-winning musical, “A Gentleman’s Guide to Love & Murder”. Ford’s script was featured on the 2014 Black List of the year’s most-liked scripts
