Who doesn’t love a Disney memento?

Disney, despite competition from Universal, remains the world’s no1 amusement park and really every kid deserves to go there at least once in their life. With photo ops at every turn, merchandise galore as well as often ground breaking rides there’s little wonder that every visitor  wants something to remember but for some they take a Disney memento too far.

Was this a Disney memento too far?

‘Stolen Kingdom’ explores the history of mischief, scandal and theft at Walt Disney World, culminating in the disappearance of a Disney memento too far – an animatronic valued at nearly half million dollars. A story of urban exploration and nostalgia run amok, the film world-premiered at the 2025 Big Sky Film Festival before embarking on a successful nationwide festival run which included the Slamdance Film Festival and opening night slots at both the Florida Film Festival and the Sidewalk Film Festival. “This film felt like it was made just for us,” said Antenna Director of Acquisitions Billy Ray Brewton. “It is the perfect example of how documentaries can be just as thrilling and just as entertaining as narratives when in the right hands.”

Behind the scenes….

The hands in question belong to a collective of talented filmmakers, including: writer/director/producer Joshua Bailey, making his feature directorial debut; composer Brendan Canty, best known as the drummer for the legendary post-hardcore band, Fugazi; and producers Slater Wayne, Brandon Pickering, and Executive Producer Jake Williams.
