A Beautiful Break Up trailer for Valentines?

Valentine’s Day is traditionally the time of year when we get a smorgasbord of saccharine romantic films so sweet that audiences leave with Type 2 diabetes. One anomaly was way back in 1991 when a film that opened on the at date was The Silence of the Lambs and that did pretty well for itself. Well now we get a love film with what looks like a dark twist with the release of A Beautiful Break Up trailer.

What’s A Beautiful Break Up trailer about?

Based on some true events, a couple’s final breakup get away — planned as a peaceful, mutual farewell — takes an unexpected turn when an unseen presence within an isolated estate quietly reshapes their journey, drawing buried feelings into the open and challenging everything they believed about endings and letting go.

Behind the scenes….

Directed by Ajithvasan Uggina (Vaasu Naan Pakka – commercial cinema), a highly accomplished Indian filmmaker with over two decades of experience, the film marks his English-language debut. He has worked extensively as a director, screenwriter, and producer across various regional film industries in India, including Kollywood (Tamil), Tollywood (Telugu), and Bollywood (Hindi). The film starsMatylda Bajer (Aghathiyaa, Raees, Kiranjit Kaur), who brings grace, nuance, and emotional strength to the narrative, alongside Thaksh, a London-based performer and storyteller, who makes his debut in a complex role demanding both vulnerability and intensity. From what we see in the trailer we think this is well worth a look

A Beautiful Breakup will be released in cinemas worldwide on 13th February 2026.
