There’s been a huge amount of speculation regarding just what is Spielberg’s summer 2026 blockbuster is about? Well we get a first glimpse of what to expect with the release of the Disclosure Day trailer.
If you found out we weren’t alone, if someone showed you, proved it to you, would that frighten you? This summer, the truth belongs to seven billion people.
The cast is led by Emily Blunt, Josh O’Connor, Colin Firth, Eve Hewson and Colman Domingo. Based on a story by Spielberg, the screenplay is by David Koepp, whose previous work with Spielberg includes the scripts for Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, War of the Worlds and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Combined, those films earned more than $3 billion worldwide. Koepp also wrote the script for this 2025’s Jurassic World Rebirth.
The trailer might be a little birthday gift from the director as he turns 79 years of age on the 18th December 2025!
Disclosure Day is in cinemas on 12th June 2026
