What’s the RuPaul’s disaster film about?
Titled, ‘STOP! THAT! TRAIN!’ it is a camp action comedy directed by Adam Shankman that focuses on a group of camp drag queens on a chaotic high-speed train journey. It follows best friends Tess (Ginger Minj) and DeeDee (Jujubee), train stewardesses who trade their dreary shifts on the Stank Rail for the glitzy Glamazonian Express. When a catastrophic ‘Stormganza’ threatens to derail the high-speed train, the duo join forces with the snobby first class attendants and President Gagwell (RuPaul) to save the day in this wild ride of camp and comedy.”
Who’s in RuPaul’s disaster film?
Along with Ru Paul, Ginger Minj and Jujubee are co-stars Brooke Lynn Hytes, Latrice Royale, Marcia Marcia Marcia, Monét X Change and Symone. Lynn Hytes, Marcia Marcia Marcia and Symone play first class train attendants in the theatrical film that expands the storytelling universe for the long-running MTV drag queen competition series. Connor Wright and Christina Friel wrote the script

Said director Adam Shankman, ‘I know I’ve needed to laugh now more than ever, and if you’re not howling during this one, I’m pretty sure you’re made of coal and possibly a descendant of the Grinch family!”. He continued, ‘I’ve had the greatest time shooting STOP! THAT! TRAIN! with some of the most hilarious and game people out there, and we can’t wait to bring it to audiences’
The film is set for a 29th May 2026 in the US with international release dates to be confirmed.
