Whilst we eagerly await the release of Gladiator II on 20th November it seems that director Ridley Scott is already eyeing up Gladiator III.
“I’d rather get on into Gladiator III,” Scott told The Hollywood Reporter Thursday when asked about a different potential next project. “There’s already an idea.” He added that he’s taking inspiration from The Godfather Part II for the next story. Scott is confident about this second film claiming that, “It is possibly even more extraordinary than the first,”
At 86 years of age he is still going strong with a Bee Gees biopic up next with Gladiator scribe John Logan as a writer, along with Joe Penhall. and is expected to go into production next year in London and Miami.
