Now Matt Johnson is an actor and performer who has made and appeared in two of our favourite film over the past couple of years – ‘Blackberry’ and most recently, ‘Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie’. But landing in our inbox is the trailer for his latest film, ‘Tony’.
The film stars Dominic Sessa, Emilia Jones, Dagmara Dominczyk, Rich Sommers, Stavros Halkias, Leo Woodall and Antonio Banderas. This is the first time Matt Johnson has filmed a movie outside of Canada and considers Provincetown, Massachusetts to be the most cooperative city he has ever shot a movie in.
Tony is released in UK cinemas on 14th August 2026
