2025 was a great year for horror films so we’re keen to see what 2026 will offer. So landing in our inbox is the Hokum trailer which looks pretty scary
When reclusive novelist Ohm Bauman (Scott) retreats to a remote Irish inn to scatter his parents’ ashes, the staff’s tales of an ancient witch haunting the honeymoon suite take hold of his mind. Soon, disturbing visions and a shocking disappearance draw him into a nightmarish confrontation with the darkest corners of his past.
The film stars Adam Scott, Peter Coonan, David Wilmot and Austin Amelio and it’s a nightmarish teaser trailer with some scary imagery.
The film comes from Black Bear who have distributed a load of really good films that includes The Son, Dumb Money, Ferrari, Origin. Immaculate, the terrific Long Legs and the Oscar winning Conclave. So any film that they are distributing is always well worth a look and the Hokum trailer looks like another must see film.
