Landing in our inbox is the Anemone trailer and its got quite some pedigree and its the film that actor Daniel Day Lewis has come out of his 2017 retirement to make but then he has co-written it with his son Ronan who makes his feature film directing debut.
ANEMONE explores the complex and profound ties that exist between brothers, fathers, and sons.
Besides Day-Lewis it co-stars SEAN BEAN, SAMANTHA MORTON, SAMUEL BOTTOMLEY & SAFIA OAKLEY-GREEN and is released in the season where potential award winners make themselves known at eh festivals and in fairness to Lewis he is that rare thing – an actor with three Oscars to his name so could this be a fourth?
Anemone is released on 7th November 2025
