With over 150 credits to his name actor Casper Van Dien is probably best known for Starship Troopers from director Paul Verhoeven. But his latest film, ‘Monsters of California’ is something of a sci-fi conspiracy thriller that features UFO’s and Bigfoot.
The film follows teenager Dallas Edwards (Jack Samson) and his friends on a quest for the meaning behind a series of mysterious, paranormal events in Southern California.
The film is co-written and directed by Tom DeLonge probably best known as the lead singer of Blink 182 but his fascination and obsession with conspiracies and the paranormal have always been an interest and Monsters of California plays heavily on this.
Casper Van Dien plays the military man that’s also the romantic interest to Dallas’ mum and we got to chat with the actor about the film, his own interest in the conspiracies plus being directed by the lead singer of Blink 182. Here’s what he told us……
