So over the past 10 years or so we have had a spate of shark movies that’s Included The Shallows. the Meg 1 & 2. and 47 Metres Down and its sequel and then most recently we had, ‘Something in the water’. But landing in our inbox is the Dangerous Animals trailer that’s a shark movie / serial killer mash up!
When Zephyr, a savvy and free-spirited surfer, is abducted by a shark-obsessed serial killer and held captive on his boat, she must figure out how to escape before he carries out a ritualistic feeding to the sharks below.
Directed by Sean Byrnbe whose last film as director was The Devils Candy it stars Jai Courtney and Hassie Harrington in a confined thriller and looks pretty gnarly too
Dangerous Animals is released in cinemas on 6th June 2025
