After The Raid and The Raid 2 there was little doubt that Welsh director Gareth Evans is an astonishing talent when it comes to putting balls to the wall action on screen. And that tradition of breathtaking action continues with his latest film, ‘Havoc’.
Havoc starts with a drug deal gone wrong ad a bruised detective must fight his way through the criminal underworld to rescue a politician’s estranged son, unraveling a deep web of corruption and conspiracy that ensnares his entire city.
Shot entirely in Wales the film stars Tom Hardy and the director reunites with stunt designer Jude Poyer to put together some insane set pieces most notably a night club scene that’s as good as anything in The Raid films.
