Dietrich Bonhoeffer might not be as well known as Oskar Schindler but his story is just as compelling as told in new release film, ‘Bonhoeffer’ as written and directed by Todd Komarnicki.
The film covers the era when the world teeters on the brink of annihilation and Dietrich Bonhoeffer joins a deadly plot to assassinate Hitler, risking his faith and fate to save millions of Jews from genocide.
In the past Todd Komarnicki has scripted true life story ‘Sully’ for Clint Eastwood as well as films starring Mel Gibson and Bruce Willis and also produced the Christmas favourite, ‘Elf’. We chatted with him about all this plus the making of Bonhoeffer and at the London premiere we got to see him with the producers cast and crew to discuss the film further.
