Writer – director Joe Carnahan has given us some solid actioners over the years that’s included a big screen version of The A-team., Narc, The Grey and top notch bullet fest Smokin’ Aces. Once rumoured to be making a Hollywood remake of the raid, an impossible task really to even try and equal it let alone beat it but now we have a glimpse for his latest film with the release of the ‘Shadow Force trailer
In SHADOW FORCE, Isaac (Omar Sy) and Kyrah (Kerry Washington) were once the leaders of a multinational special forces group called Shadow Force. They broke the rules by falling in love, and in order to protect their son, they go underground. With a large bounty on their heads, and the vengeful Shadow Force hot on their trail, one family’s fight becomes all-out war.
They’re joined by the always excellent Mark Strong as the villain of the piece who seems to be Hollywood’s go to actor for British villains having done the same in Kick Ass, Shazam and others
SHADOW FORCE will be released in UK and Irish cinemas on 2nd May 2025
