Back in 2000 we had the Ben Stiller – Robert De Niro comedy that was a huge success earning $330m. A sequel followed in 2004 that earned $522 and 2010 saw a third film ‘Little Fockers’ that made $310m. Well now we’re going to meet the parents again with a fourth film.
De Niro, Stiller, Teri Polo and Blythe Danner are all set to return but helming the film will be John Hamburg who had co-written the three other Meet the Parents movies and will be writing this script as well. Hamburg has contributed to several blockbuster comedies including Zoolander and has worked extensively in television. His directing credits include I Love You, Man (2009) featuring Paul Rudd and Jason Segel; Why Him? (2016) starring Bryan Cranston and James Franco; and Me Time (2022), a Netflix comedy starring Kevin Hart and Mark Wahlberg.
