Director Gareth Evans exploded onto the scene with The Raid and action film that astonished with its, at times, literally break neck scenes and seemed impossible to top. Certainly no Hollywood film ever managed to best it even giving up on a rumoured Hollywood version that never came to fruition. But best it Evans did with his sequel that expanded the story to epic proportions with even more breathtaking actions scenes that starts right from the very first scene with The Raid 2 prison fight – a mass brawl in a mud drenched yard where no one comes out unscathed
After a screening of the film Gareth Evans did an audience Q&A and spoke about that brutal bloody brawl and just how he managed to pull off The Raid 2 prison fight in such grime riddled conditions.
