The end credits of ‘Venom Let There be Carnage’ suggested that Spiderman will pop up in Venom’s orbit but added fuel to the fire is the villain, who unexpectedly appears in the recent Venom 3 trailer, is revealed to be Knull, creator and God of the Symbiotes. His appearance even surprised Knull character creators Donny Cates and Ryan Stegman with Stegman stating on X/twitter that they were unaware he was even in the film until they saw the trailer. It’s spurred a Spiderman rumour that Knull could be the starting point for Spiderman 4.
There have been recent reshoots for Hardy’s Eddie Brock that reports suggest will be fully integrated into the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the Spider-Man 4 rumour is that Knull will be the villain for Spider-Man and Venom to take on. It is expected that the film is aiming to release between the events of “Avengers: Doomsday” and “Avengers: Secret Wars,” and is thought likely to be the only time it could work as Marvel is expected to end its Multiverse Saga after ‘Secret Wars’ (thankfully because who isn’t bored of the multiverse now?).
Chiwetel Ejiofor, Juno Temple, Peggy Lu, Alanna Ubach, the always excellent Stephen Graham, and the great Rhys Ifans (casting directors please put him up for more roles!) also star in “Venom: The Last Dance” which hits cinemas October 25th
