The beloved character Winnie the Pooh from the books by A. A. Milne and taken up by Disney was commandeered for a horror film when they copyright had expired and so we had ‘Winnie the Pooh : Blood and Honey’ followed by a sequel soon after. Well now that the copyright on Mickey Mouse has also expired 100 years after he first appeared in animated short film ‘Steamboat Willy’ we now see Mickey Mouse turns murderous in new horror film, ‘The Mouse Trap’.
Written by and starring Simon Phillips and directed by Jamie Bailey the film follows Alex’s 21st Birthday, who is stuck at the amusement arcade on a late shift so her friends decide to surprise her, but a masked killer dressed as Mickey Mouse decides to play a game of his own with them which she must survive.
