For our money British director Simon West is one of the great yet under rated action directors with Con Air and The Expendables 2 being his best. Amongst his other films are Lara Croft : Tomb Raider and a couple of Jason Statham films that include The Mechanic and Wild Card. His 2019 actioner, ‘Skyfire’ (reviewed HERE) is well worth a look too and its was whilst he was out promoting that film that we spoke to him about his films.
Having worked with major Hollywood stars that have included John Travolta, Nicolas Cage, Christophe Waltz, John Malkovich, John Cusack and James Woods. But who are the stars who will do any stunt and have to be stopped from doping so.
