The latest in what is now a long line of Liam Neeson action thrillers is the release of In the Land of Saints and Sinners trailer although this one looks a little more sombre than his others.
In the Land of Saints and Sinners is set in a remote Irish village, where Finbar, a newly retired assassin, finds himself drawn into a lethal game of cat and mouse with a trio of vengeful terrorists. Forced to fight for redemption after a lifetime of sins, but what price is he willing to pay? In the land of saints and sinners, some sins can’t be buried.
Shot in County Donegal, Ireland the film, which reunites Neeson with The Marksman director Robert Lorenz. Co-starring are Neeson’s fellow Oscar nominees Ciarán Hinds (Belfast) and Kerry Condon (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri) as well as Colm Meaney (The Banker) and Jack Gleeson (Game Of Thrones). The film debuts at the Venice Film Festival with a US and UK release top be confirmed.
