David Earl is probably best known for his work on Ricky Gervais TV series ‘Derek’ and ‘After Life’ and regularly pops up on bloopers reels making the comedian burst out laughing uncontrollably with his hilarious ad-libs. But now he takes the lead role as Bobo the Clown in new comedy feature, ‘Apocalypse Clown’
With the tag line, ‘When the world ends, The fun begins’ the story involves a mysterious technological blackout plunges Ireland into anarchy and chaos, a group of failed washed up clowns are forced to traverse the country for one last shot at their dreams. (read our review HERE)
We are big fans of David and his work and he had a cult hit with his first feature film , ‘Brian and Charles’ and we got a rare chance to chat with him about the making of the film, the stunts, the climatic finale, making others laugh on set and his worst ever stand up gig.
