Got to love Jason Statham a one man industry in action films churning them out at a rate of knots at a rate of at least one every year – in fact back in 2023 he had four films out. He’s come a long way since Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and has such a extensive catalogue that he’s been doing sequel to his films for a while and his latest is The Beekeeper 2.
Jason Statham is back as Adam Clay in The Beekeeper 2. Pulled back into the fight when the Beekeeper organization goes rogue and sets its sights on controlling the government, Clay must take on the very group that made him.
Starring Jason Statham, Pom Klementieff, Jemma Redgrave, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Adam Copeland, Bobby Naderi with Yara Shahidi and Jeremy Irons. Directed by Timo Tjahjanto whose last film was Nobody 2. The screenplay is by Kurt Wimmer and Zak Penn who wrote the original film to much success but far less so for for excreble Expendables 4.
The Beekeeper is in cinemas from 15th January 2027
