The new Miami Vice film….
The Miami Vice TV series from the 1980’s was hugely influential not just for making its two leads into stars (albeit only really on TV) but also for its highly stylized production design , lighting, wardrobe and theme tune. Te series ran from 1984 – 1989 and a film followed in 2006 long after the TV series had finished and this time starring Colin Farrell and Jamie Foxx and helmed by Michael Mann who was behind the TV series. The film earned $163.7 million globally. Well now twenty years later a new film that reboots, remakes or reimagines or maybe even all three is about to go into production and here’s what we know about the new Miami Vice film.
