So 1994 saw Disney’s animated The Lion King become the studios biggest earner making $981m. Then in 2019 a kind of live action version with photo realistic animals did even better earning $1.6billion. Well now we have sequel that’s a prequel that follows Mufasa, a cub lost and alone, who meets a sympathetic lion named Taka, the heir to a royal bloodline.
