The death of Matthew Perry back in October 2023 was undoubtedly tragic especially when he never really got the roles he deserved after the hit TV sitcom, ‘Friends’ finished. Unable to wean himself off his drug addiction it was recently announced that five people have been arrested in connection to his death seemingly with regard to the drugs they supplied that bought about his death and he was later found facedown in his hot tub.His last words to his assistant Kenneth Iwamasa were included in court documents released this week and were alleged to be, “Shoot me up with a big one” referring to a dose of ketamine.
He also asked his aide to prepare the jacuzzi. Perry was later found face down in the hot tub. The same documents reveal that Perry had previously twice been found unconscious at his home.
Iwamasa has been charged along with four others including two doctors and three have already pleaded guilty to the charges. The defendants were part of a “broad underground criminal network” that supplied ketamine to Perry and others. He said the suspects “took advantage of Mr. Perry’s addiction issues to enrich themselves.”
