The Raid 2 turned out to be one of the greatest sequels to one of THE great action films of the 2010’s but just how do you top the already astonishing sequences in the first film? The Raid 2 was released in2014 and was set only a short time after the first raid, Rama (Iko Uwais) goes undercover with the thugs of Jakarta and plans to bring down the syndicate and uncover the corruption within his police force.
Granted a bigger budget Gareth Evans expanded the story beyond the tower block of the first film and made it epic in scope as well as upping the ante in terms of the action sequences.
