So we will be the first to admit that we loved 2018’s A Quiet Place and so did many others with the sleeper hit earning $340m dollars off a tiny budget’ A sequel set for 2020 was to be released in the week we went into lockdown and the film was released the following year and saw the advent of the reopening of UK cinemas. Well now we have a third film which is a prequel and takes us back to the start of it all with the A Quiet Place Day One trailer
Starring Lupita Nyong’o, Joseph Quinn, Alex Wolff and Djimon Hounsou the synopsis for the film simply reads ‘Experience the day the world went quiet’. The trailer looks as thrilling as the previous entries but here we have no Emily Blunt starring or John Krasinski directing. Instead we have Michael Sarnoski directing from his own script based on a story by Krasinski himself.
A QUIET PLACE: DAY ONE IS ONLY IN CINEMAS ON 28th JUNE 2024.
