Academy Award® Nominee director Yorgos Lanthimos has made several distinctive and individual films the most recent being this years Poor Things which won Emma Stone her second Best Actress Oscar and now we have a glimpse at his next film with the Kinds of Kindness trailer
Kinds of Kindness is a triptych fable, following a man without choice who tries to take control of his own life; a policeman who is alarmed that his wife who was missing-at-sea has returned and seems a different person; and a woman determined to find a specific someone with a special ability, who is destined to become a prodigious spiritual leader.
Two-time Academy Award® Winner Emma Stone stars alongside Academy Award® Nominee Jesse Plemons, Academy Award® Nominee Willem Dafoe, Margaret Qualley, Academy Award® Nominee Hong Chau, Joe Alwyn, Mamoudou Athie and Hunter Schafer. The original screenplay was written by Lanthimos and Efthimis Filippou, making this their fourth collaboration (The Lobster, The Killing Of A Sacred Deer, Dogtooth).
The film will be in cinemas in the UK and Ireland 28th June 2024.
