Singapore director Anthony Chen has multiple wins and nominations to his name including those from the Cannes Film Festival and his latest film, ‘Drift’ starring Cynthia Erivo is his first English language film.
‘Drift’ follows Jacqueline (Cynthia Erivo) who has escaped her war-torn country to a Greek island. She meets an unmoored tour guide and the two become close as they each find hope in the other.
