Since the success of The Shallows back in 2016 we have had a spate of shark films on that range from low budget to major blockbusters. Well now we have the latest summer shark movie with the release of the Something in the Water trailer
When Meg (Hiftu Quasem_ attends the wedding of old friend Lizzie (Lauren Lyle, Outlander) with fellow pals Cam (Nicole Rieko Setsuko), Ruth (Ellouise Shakespeare-Hart), and former partner Kayla (Natalie Mitson), an emotional reunion turns into an epic battle for survival in the Caribbean.
Not too much of the shark in this trailer but the pitch for this one seems to be its all female cast and presumably female shark too
SOMETHING IN THE WATER is released in cinemas across the UK & Ireland 5th July 2024
