You may not have heard of KNB FX but they are one of the premier Hollywood make up effects houses headed up by Greg Nicotero and Howard Berger and both have worked extensively on many of the biggest Hollywood films and all of Quentin Tarantino’s films. Howard won an Oscar for his work on ‘The Lion, the Witch and the wardrobe’ but has worked on films as varied as Space Jam, Alita Battle Angel, Django Unchained, Piranha 3D and Breaking Bad……an From Dusk til Dawn
Howard’s award winning book, co-written with our friend British film journalist Marshall Julius, titled, ‘Masters of Make Up Effects’ is a superb read with anecdotes and rare pictures from many of the best make up artists in the business including the legendary Rick Baker. When Howard was in London a special screening of From Dusk til Dawn was put which Howard had worked on a the Make Up supervisor and spoke extensively about his work on the film and answered a whole load of behind the scenes questions.
